The ancient Greeks who coined the term “Entertainment” knew better— you see, “Entertain” means “To Hold”, and “ment” means “The Mind”— To “Entertain” is literally “to Hold the Mind.” And “holding the mind” is by definition the most essential aspect of successful marketing.

In my decades of experience successfully entertaining large audiences with acting prowess and musical skill, there is no half-success when it comes to holding the mind of your audience- it’s pass or fail! You’re either holding their mind, or you’re not.

And make no mistake— your competition ain’t just the other companies to your left and your right offering similar things— not anymore. You can see, we’re all in competition for those same eyeballs with the cutest kitten videos imaginable, celebrity hair disasters and outrageous reality TV clips shot and edited 24/7 on nearly ubiquitous 4k+ smartphones around the world. We need to go out and entertain better than that- with compassion, relevance and the urgency that grabs hold of our market and whispers,

“This Can’t Wait.”
